Caramel Butter Brie

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
- 12 ounces brie cheese, wheel
- 1/2 cup pecans, toasted
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 melt butter, brown sugar and sugar in heavy saucepan over low heat and stir until sugars are dissolved.
- 3 gradually whisk in heavy cream and continue whisking until smooth.
- 4 add nutmeg.
- 5 bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes.
- 6 place wheel of brie on a pie plate and pour caramel over the top, letting it drip down the sides.
- 7 bake for 10 minutes or until brie is soft.
- 8 remove from oven and sprinkle with toasted pecans.
- 9 let stand 5 minutes before serving.
