- 1 lb shelled brazil nut

- 1 cover shelled nuts with water. bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes. cut into slices lenghtwise with a very sharp knife. spread in shallow pans.
- 2 add the butter. salt well. and toast at 350f until the chips are brown and toasty.
- 3 drain on absorbent paper.
