Cheese Whoopsies

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 jar apple butter

Recipe

  • 1 combine butter and cheese.
  • 2 add flour and mix thoroughly.
  • 3 shape into rolls 18" long and 1-1/2 inches in diameter.
  • 4 wrap rolls in foil or waxed paper.
  • 5 chill at least 3 hours.
  • 6 preheat oven to 350º.
  • 7 slice dough about 1/4 inch thick.
  • 8 place slices about 1/2 inch apart on non-stick foil-covered baking sheet.
  • 9 bake 8-10 minutes, or till light brown.
  • 10 carefully remove from sheet and allow to cool.
  • 11 sandwich apple butter between two rounds.
