Bacon-wrapped Water Chestnuts

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 (12 ounce) packages of regular bacon
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans water chestnuts
  • toothpick

Recipe

  • 1 soak the toothpicks in water.
  • 2 preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • 3 cut the bacon in half horizontally.
  • 4 generously rub pinches of brown sugar on both sides of the bacon.
  • 5 roll a waterchestnut in the bacon.
  • 6 secure with a toothpick.
  • 7 place on a greased pan.
  • 8 repeat until all the bacon is used up.
  • 9 bake for 15 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
