Cheddar Harvest Fondue

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup apple juice
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups italian bread, cut into bite sized pieces
- 4 cups vegetables, cut into bite sized pieces
Recipe
- 1 in a medium saucepan combine until smooth: milk, apple juice, flour, mustard, onion powder, salt and black pepper. cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and bubbles. continue to cook one minute longer.
- 2 remove from heat and add cheese. stir until the cheese is melted. transfer to a fondue pot and keep the mixture warm. serve with bread cubes and assorted vegetables. tooth picks make for good dipping.
