Ingredients

- 1 wheel brie cheese (8oz)
- 1 (8 ounce) package crescent roll dough
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup smucker's pure apricot jam
- 1/2 teaspoon chipotle hot pepper sauce (optional)
- 1/4 cup walnuts, toasted, chopped
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f
- 2 line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment.
- 3 unroll dough and place on lined baking sheet.
- 4 press seams together to form a rectangle.
- 5 place brie in the middle of dough.
- 6 brush edges lightly with beaten egg, and then wrap around brie, leaving the brie uncovered in the center. it should look like a volcano.
- 7 bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
- 8 combine the jam and hot pepper sauce, if using.
- 9 spoon jam into well on top of brie, and sprinkle with toasted nuts.
- 10 let set at least 30 minutes before serving so cheese can reform.
