Cantaloupe Preserves

Total Time: 12 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 12 hrs Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs firm ripe cantaloupe
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 lemon, juice of

Recipe

  • 1 pare cantaloupe and cut it into thin strips 1 inch long.
  • 2 mix cantaloupe and sugar let stand overnight.
  • 3 add lemon juice, cook until clear.
  • 4 puor into hot sterilized jars. seal.
