Baked Italian Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients
- 4 -5 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 -3 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup 2% low-fat milk
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning (you can add any type of herbs or spices you like in place of the italian seasoning)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- fresh ground black pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 wash chicken breasts, pat dry. cut into bite size chunks.
- 3 in a small bowl or pasta dish, beat egg. add milk to egg and stir to combine.
- 4 on a large plate, add panko crumbs, parmesan cheese, italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. mix together. (you could also do this in a ziploc bag).
- 5 add chicken nuggets to egg/milk mixture and coat thoroughly.
- 6 next, dredge nuggets in seasoned crumb mixture until covered.
- 7 place chicken nuggets on cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, leaving space between each nugget.
- 8 bake at 350 for about an hour or until done.
