Baked Italian Chicken Nuggets

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 4 -5 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 -3 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup 2% low-fat milk
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons italian seasoning (you can add any type of herbs or spices you like in place of the italian seasoning)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • fresh ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 wash chicken breasts, pat dry. cut into bite size chunks.
  • 3 in a small bowl or pasta dish, beat egg. add milk to egg and stir to combine.
  • 4 on a large plate, add panko crumbs, parmesan cheese, italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. mix together. (you could also do this in a ziploc bag).
  • 5 add chicken nuggets to egg/milk mixture and coat thoroughly.
  • 6 next, dredge nuggets in seasoned crumb mixture until covered.
  • 7 place chicken nuggets on cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, leaving space between each nugget.
  • 8 bake at 350 for about an hour or until done.
