Baked Ricotta

Ingredients

- 3 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 egg whites, whisked
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- sea salt
- black pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
- 2 mix cheese and egg whites.
- 3 fold through herbs and seasonings.
- 4 grease deep dish or ramekins.
- 5 spoon in mixture.
- 6 drizzle with olive oil and bake 30 minutes.
- 7 cool slightly. cake does "collapse" when remove from the oven.
- 8 turn out onto a plate to catch olive oil juices.
- 9 serve warm or at room temperature.
