Cabin Fever Game Night Taco Dip

Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
- 1/2 cup salsa or 1/2 cup picante sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- tomato, seeded, diced
- black olives, sliced
- green onion, sliced (including stems)
- cheddar cheese, grated
- tortilla chips
Recipe
- 1 mix beans & salsa, spread on cookie sheet or serving tray; sprinkle cheddar over this; press lightly into bean-salsa mixture.
- 2 in a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream, mayo & garlic powder until very smooth; spread over bean-cheese in pan.
- 3 in a blender or by hand, mix avocado, onion and lemon juice until very smooth; spread this over half the cream cheese layer (some people don't like guacamole!).
- 4 by now your kitchen should have messes on every counter!
- 5 over the top, in a festive arrangement, sprinkle on your choice of the toppings.
- 6 serve with tortilla chips.
- 7 leftovers: slop together (artfully, of course) and serve over tortilla chips or spoon into a taco shell or on a tortilla skin. this is even good when heated up.
