Cheese & Sausage Bundles

Ingredients
- 500 g hot italian lamb sausage
- 2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
- 2 cans chopped green chilies
- 4 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
- 75 wonton wrappers
- water
Recipe
- 1 uncase and separate sausage.
- 2 brown sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3 drain off excess drippings.
- 4 combine cheese, chillies, green onions and sausage in a medium bowl.
- 5 spoon 1 round teaspoon of sausage mixture near 1 corner of wonton wrapper.
- 6 brush opposite corner with water.
- 7 roll up “jelly roll� style.
- 8 moisten ends of roll with water.
- 9 bring ends together to make a “bundle� overlapping slightly and pressing firmly.
- 10 repeat with remaining filling and wrappers.
- 11 heat deep fryer to about 365.
- 12 fry bundles a few at a time for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
- 13 drain on paper towel and serve.
- 14 **bundles may also be frozen and reheated in the oven.**.
