Brandy Braised Kielbasa Bits

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 9 1/2 ounces mini puff pastry shells
  • 1/2 lb kielbasa, diced
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • 2 tablespoons brandy
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dijon-style mustard
  • 1/4 cup chopped chives

Recipe

  • 1 bake, cool and remove the "tops" of the pastry shells according to the package directions.
  • 2 heat the kielbasa, wine, brandy, brown sugar and mustard in a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.
  • 3 cook and stir for 15 minutes or until the liquid is reduced to a syrup-like consistency.
  • 4 divide the kielbasa mixture among the pastry shells.
  • 5 sprinkle with the chives.
  • 6 serve immediately.
