Chutney Glazed Pecans

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 (9 ounce) jar jar hot mango chutney
  • 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups whole pecans

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • 3 place chutney in blender or food processor; cover and blend until smooth.
  • 4 melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.
  • 5 stir in chutney, sugar, curry powder, ginger and salt.
  • 6 add pecans; stir until coated.
  • 7 spread mixture evenly onto prepared baking sheet.
  • 8 bake, stirring halfway through, for 20 to 25 minutes or until pecans are toasted.
  • 9 remove pecans immediately from baking sheet onto waxed paper; cool.
  • 10 break into pieces.
