Brandied Roquefort Crostini

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 4 ounces roquefort cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons brandy
  • 1/4 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 12 slices baguette

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 425°f.
  • 2 thoroughly mix cheeses in a food processor with sharp metal blade.
  • 3 stir in brandy and pecans and process until the mixture is very smooth.
  • 4 arrange bread slices on a baking sheet.
  • 5 spread cheese mixture over bread slices.
  • 6 bake until cheese is lightly browned (about 10 minutes).
  • 7 serve immediately.
