Black Bean Hummus

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans
  • 1/4 cup vegetable stock or 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • salt (to taste)
  • cayenne pepper (to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 rinse and drain the canned beans.
  • 2 place the first 6 ingredients into food processor.
  • 3 whirl it together until smooth *hey if you like chunky, go for it!*.
  • 4 add the salt and cayenne to taste.
  • 5 refrigerate for 1 or 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  • 6 spoon into a bowl and serve with your preferred dippers.
