Baked Potato Skins

Total Time: 1 hr 27 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 6 large potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon parmesan cheese
  • sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 scrub potatoes throughly, prick several times with a fork.
  • 2 bake at 400 for 1 hour, or until done.
  • 3 allow to cool to touch.
  • 4 cut potatoes in half lenthwise.
  • 5 carefully scoop out pulp, leaving about 1/4 inch thick shells.
  • 6 cut each shell lenthwise into 1 inch wide strips.
  • 7 place on ungreased baking sheet.
  • 8 brush tops of strips with butter.
  • 9 sprinkle with seasonings and cheese.
  • 10 bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes, or until crisp.
  • 11 serve warm with sour cream.
