Black Bean Hummus

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb) can garbanzo beans
  • 1 (1 lb) can black beans
  • 3 cups olive oil
  • 1 pinch ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 lime, juice of
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chili powder
  • 1 pinch ground coriander
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon tahini

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients in a large bowl. add the ingredients to a food processor and process in batches.
  • 2 blend until smooth.
  • 3 place into individual 16-ounce serving size containers.
  • 4 serve with 1 bag prepared pita chips (16 chips per serving).
