Bacon Wrapped Dates With Cheese

Ingredients
- Servings: 20
- 1 lb bacon
- 10 ounces pitted dates
- 1/8 lb parmigiano-reggiano cheese
Recipe
- 1 cut bacon in half crosswise.
- 2 cook bacon in a skillet to get most of fat out (do not let brown), then drain on paper towel.
- 3 cut cheese in small rectangles to slide into dates.
- 4 slide cheese into open end of pitted dates.
- 5 wrap cheese filled date in 1/2 piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- 6 cook at 400 for 15 minutes until bacon is crisp.
