 - put sliced cucumbers into a bowl.
 - stir vinegar, sugar, water, and salt together in a separate bowl to dissolve the sugar and salt; pour over the cucumbers. sprinkle parsley over the cucumbers.
 - refrigerate cucumbers 3 hours to overnight.
