Breakfast Scones

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste i usually do 1/2 cup)
  • 1/3 cup margarine (or butter or shortening)
  • 3/4 cup milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven for 350*f
  • 2 cut together first five ingredients.
  • 3 slowly add milk and mix it inches.
  • 4 form dough into a ball like lump.
  • 5 put dough onto a floured surface.
  • 6 pat it down and divide it into two separate lumps about 1/2 inch thick.
  • 7 cut each lump into fourths and make wedge-like shapes.
  • 8 put on lightly greased baking sheet and cook for 10-12 minutes.
