Chagrin Falls Bacon

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1/4 lb dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon clove
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 take a baking pan and line it with foil. then place a rack on the foil and set aside.
  • 2 preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • 3 mix together the brown sugar and spices in a bowl.
  • 4 cut the bacon in half so each original piece is now 2 pieces.
  • 5 dredge the bacon pieces in the brown sugar mixture, coating well.
  • 6 put each piece of bacon on the rack.
  • 7 cook for 20-30 minutes.
  • 8 use tongs to remove from the rack (they will be very hot!) and place on wax paper to cool.
  • 9 can be frozen.
