Canning Dilled Green Beans

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon dill seed
- 1 garlic clove
- 5 cups vinegar
- 1/2 cup salt
- 5 cups water
Recipe
- 1 wash beans, push together as close as you can in a pint jar. try to push as many beans as you can into one pint jar.
- 2 in a pint jar add: crushed red pepper, mustard seed, dill seed, and garlic.
- 3 combine vinegar, salt, and water and put on stove.
- 4 heat to a boil. process 5 minutes after boiling starts.
- 5 tip: i put the lid on the stove to on warm so when i put the mixture in it will close tightly and won't come undone.
- 6 fill jars and seal.
- 7 tip: do not spill the mixture on you- it is hot and will burn you.
- 8 wait 3 months before opening.
- 9 this makes 10 pints.
