Chilled Cucumber Soup

Ingredients

- 1 cucumber
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 quart buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- salt and pepper
- dark bread
Recipe
- 1 peel and seed cucumber.
- 2 cut slices in finger-thick chunks.
- 3 put in blender with other ingredients except dark bread.
- 4 blend.
- 5 refrigerate at least 1/2 hour before serving.
- 6 cut dark bread into cubes.
- 7 toast to croutons in a thick pan.
- 8 blend soup again before serving.
- 9 add croutons when serving.
