Amalfi Octopus

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 kg a medium sized octopus, cooked and cut into pieces
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped onions
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 6 ounces avocados, cut into cubes
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 serrano chilies, finely chopped
  • salt
  • chili powder

Recipe

  • 1 mix the octopus, onions, and basil in a bowl. add the avocado cubes on top.
  • 2 add the lime juice, olive oil, salt, serrano chili and the chili powder (i recommend "tajin" a mexican brand).
  • 3 serve with tostadas or pita crisps.
