Cheesy Roasted Red Pepper Bread

Ingredients
- 1 lb french bread, loaf
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup miracle whip
- 1/4 cup finely chopped roasted red pepper, well drained (from 7 oz jar)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro, if desired
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 small onion, finely chopped (1/4 cup)
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 400°.
- 2 cut bread loaf horizontally into 3 layers.
- 3 mix remaining ingredients.
- 4 spread half of the cheese mixture over bottom layer.
- 5 top with second layer; spread with remaining cheese mixture.
- 6 top with third layer; press firmly.
- 7 wrap loaf securely in heavy-duty aluminum foil.
- 8 bake 15 to 20 minutes or until hot.
- 9 serve warm.
- 10 substitution: you can substitute finely chopped fresh red bell pepper for the roasted red bell pepprs in this recipe.
- 11 variation: you can heat this bread on the grill over medium heat for 15 to 20 min.
