Briana's Fried Artichokes

Ingredients
- Servings: 2
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can artichoke hearts, quartered or whole (not marinated!!)
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Recipe
- 1 combine eggs and milk in a bowl and mix.
- 2 combine breadcrumbs and seasonings in a plate or ziploc bag, however you prefer.
- 3 drain artichoke hearts. dip in egg/milk wash.
- 4 coat in breadcrumbs mix.
- 5 repeat egg/milk wash & then breadcrumbs.
- 6 fry in hot oil either in skillet or deep fryer for 3-5 minutes. remember they continue to brown after you take them out of the oil. these are better slightly overdone (darker brown)!
