Asparagus With Wasabi Mayonnaise

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons wasabi paste

Recipe

  • 1 blanch asparagus in 2 batches in a large saucepan of boiling salted water for 1 minute.
  • 2 immediately place spears in a cold water bath.
  • 3 drain well, and pat dry.
  • 4 whisk together other ingredients and serve.
