Cheese Thins

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 35 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pinch cayenne
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 measure first 7 ingredients into a bowl.
  • 2 stir well.
  • 3 add cooking oil and water.
  • 4 mix until you can form a ball.
  • 5 cover and let stand 20 minutes.
  • 6 divide into 4 portions.
  • 7 roll 1 portion paper thin on a lightly floured surface.
  • 8 cut into 8 wedges.
  • 9 arrange on an ungreaded baking sheet.
  • 10 repeat.
  • 11 bake in a 375 degree oven for around 10 minutes or until crisp and lightly browned.
