Bacon Roll-ups

Ingredients
- Servings: 32
- 16 slices bacon, cut in half
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
- 1 (10 ounce) package pita bread rounds
Recipe
- 1 preheat your oven's broiler (i put mine on low broil and my oven rack was in the middle of my gas stove).
- 2 open pita rounds, and spread generously with cream cheese. i spread to the thickness we liked - you might use more or less of the amount listed.
- 3 replace tops, and use a pizza cutter to slice into 1 inch wide strips.
- 4 cut the long strips in half crosswise.
- 5 roll up each piece, and wrap with half of a strip of bacon.
- 6 secure with toothpicks and place close together on a baking sheet.
- 7 broil for 10 minutes in oven or until the bacon is cooked through.
- 8 use spatula to remove them to a napkin lined bowl or platter.
- 9 remove toothpicks before serving.
